Greenville, SC - In an effort to enhance the fan experience and address parking concerns for the upcoming 2024 season, the City of Greenville, Greenlink, and the Greenville Drive have collaborated to introduce new game day parking and trolley routes.

Mayor Knox White expressed the city's commitment to public-private partnerships, stating, “Greenville prides itself in public-private partnerships.” The initiative aims to provide convenient transportation options for fans heading to Fluor Field for baseball games.

Greenville Drive owner Craig Brown conveyed his appreciation for the collaborative effort, acknowledging the support received from city officials and staff. Brown stated, “I’m grateful to the Mayor and City Council, and staff including the City Manager and the directors of Greenlink and Parking Services."

The new transportation system includes three trolleys running on two distinct routes with frequent service before and after the games. Greenlink Director James Keel highlighted the partnership's goal of offering efficient and reliable transportation, stating, “Greenlink is excited to partner with the Drive to provide fans efficient and reliable transportation to the ballpark.”

The trolleys will operate along designated stops, including free parking lots on Pendleton Street and low-cost City parking garages near River Street. Parking Services Administrator Bill Foster emphasized the affordability of parking options, mentioning, “After that first free hour, it’s just $2 to park for a second hour, and then $1 per hour thereafter.”

Fans can track trolley locations in real-time using the Transit app or by visiting the designated website. The trolleys will stop at various locations along Main Street and River Street, ensuring convenient access to Fluor Field for game attendees.

With the implementation of these new game day parking and trolley routes, fans can enjoy a hassle-free journey to the ballpark and focus on the excitement of the game. The enhancements are set to debut on the opening day of April 9, providing a seamless and family-friendly fan experience.
